About me 🙃

Hello, I'm Charlotte Day (Char), an Australian-based designer excited to begin my journey in the creative industry. I strive to create authentic, meaningful designs that challenge the norm, spark conversation, and tell compelling stories.

I graduated from Swinburne university in 2025 with a double degree in Media and Communications (Digital Advertising Technology) and Design (Communication Design). Alongside my studies, I completed freelance design projects for Swinburne and ABC Friends, giving me hands-on experience working with real clients and bringing creative ideas to life. I'm an enthusiastic and curious designer who loves working in fast-paced, collaborative environments where creativity, innovation, and storytelling come together. I am a all rounder person, photography, marketing, advertising, branding, creator that reallys loves all design.

ABC Friends Poster

This campaign for ABC Friends Vic was designed to engage an 18–25 audience through a culturally relevant, value-driven festival concept. The final solution introduced the ABC Friends Day Festival, a curated experience sponsored by Stomping Grounds Alcohol, offering an accessible $30 all-inclusive package that included entry, a complimentary membership, and a beverage.

The strategy focused on building awareness and participation through targeted Instagram advertising and high-impact A2 billboard placements. The campaign combined social engagement with outdoor media to reach young audiences in both digital and physical environments, positioning ABC Friends as an accessible and community-driven organisation.

ABCFriends Shortlisted

This concept explores the contrast between AI-generated uniformity and the richness of human individuality in an increasingly tech-driven world. Through bold, vibrant human-centred visuals, the campaign highlights authenticity, personality, and emotional connection as key differentiators in a landscape saturated by artificial content.

The central message, “We Stand Out, They Don’t!”, reinforces the importance of real human stories and expression, positioning individuality as something powerful and irreplaceable. Designed for the AMPLIFY Shortlist Showcase, the work serves as a reminder that while technology continues to evolve, it is human creativity and diversity that truly capture attention and meaning.artist–eco-friendly cabins, fully equipped studios, and days filled with swimming, hiking, and outdoor adventures.
